Grayflame Enchant

in regards to the Grayflame Enchant for a weapon:

1) can any class use a weapon with the Grayflame Enchant? or only classes that can channel energy like cleric or pally?  i'm playing a bard.

2) the way the description is worded, it seems that there might be conditions where the effect would last more than one round.  how would one achieve this?
